Are you accepting new patients?

Unfortunately, I am not accepting new patients at this time. I will update as soon as I am able to take on more patients.

Where is your office located?

At this time, we do not have a dedicated office space. We are offering teletherapy services in KY and TN, as well as home-based services within a specific radius around Bowling Green, KY.

What is Speech Therapy?

Speech Therapy is focused on improving how we produce sounds and words. Speech includes articulation (how we make speech sounds using the mouth, lips, and tongue), voice (how we use our vocal cords and breath to make sounds), and fluency (the rhythm of our speech). Challenges in one or more of these areas can make it difficult to understand what a person is saying.

What is Language Therapy?

Language Therapy is focused on improving the words we use and how we use them to share ideas and get what we want. Language includes vocabulary (what words mean), grammar (how to make new words/word forms), syntax (how to put words together to make coherent phrases and sentences), and pragmatics (what we should say at different times).

Language can be broken down into receptive language and expressive language. Receptive language refers to understanding what others say. Expressive language refers to sharing our thoughts, ideas, and feelings. It is possible to have difficulties with receptive language, expressive language, or both.

What is Feeding Therapy?

Feeding Therapy is focused on improving sucking, eating from a spoon, chewing, drinking from a cup, and swallowing. It can also help increase food variety for individuals who are considered “picky eaters”, especially when entire food groups are avoided.

What is a Superbill?

A superbill is a detailed invoice outlining the services a client received. It contains all of the billing and coding information that the insurance company would need to pay the claim. A superbill is submitted to the insurer by the client for potential reimbursement. Superbills are provided to private pay clients, as requested.

Do we accept insurance?

Yes! We are currently accepting Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, KY Medicaid (Commercial), and Molina Healthcare.
